Link to Parent portal from Child Portal

Hi...I uploaded a skin package that contained just an ascx file and the css (no html). I am fairly new to DNN/Dreamweaver but have figured out how to change images out in container headers, etc. in this case, specified using the css file and inserting the class info into the appropriate spot in the ascx file. The basics here...

I created a class for the logo header image (the parent page logo) and figured out where to put that in the ascx file. Now I want to have a hotlink on the parent page logo to link back to the parent page, but since its defined in CSS I am at a loss...In this case, the child portal is a newsletter with it's own skin package. I am "poking and hoping" here so far to no avail. Or...is there a way to create a second home page (or any page) that links to the parent portal from a child portal? Either method will work - I just want readers of the newsletter to be able to go back to the main website and so far all I can think of is to put a link inside a container! Don't want to do that...thanks

CSS based navigation
