Hello, have a site with Telerik RAD editor and everything works fine, I have just created new subportal and image and documents manager is not working - any ideas?

It works on the main portal but not subportal.

DNN 4.08
RAD 7.12

Hello, there could be other explenation but try this one and see if it helps.

In new Portal go to Admin >> File Manager

create new folders within the portal named as follow:

images
docs
media
flash

than synchronise the files, and clear the cache.

Once completed you should be able to see the image, flash, document manager and media icons in the editor.

The reason for this is that when you created the subportal those folders were not created and the editor does not know where to find or save files.

Hope this helps

I have a similar problem. The Rad Editor was working fine in DNN 5.5.2, but when the site was upgraded to 5.6.1, the image manager stopped working. All I have are empty panes in the window now. I have synced the file system and cleared my cache. Other suggestions?

I ran into a similar issue with only one portal. After trying all of the above fixes I tried to install the dnnWerk provider with the same result. Here is what I ended up doing:

1. Backup the portal files and directories
2. Clear all files and directories from the portal
3. Run File Manager Synchonization with recursion to clear all of the entries in the database.
4. Restore the portal
5. Run File Manager Synchonization with recursion again to put the files back in the database

I tried clearing the database manually with a script but it didn't work, only this method seemed to clear up whatever was messed up in the background. You can read more about the issue on my blog:
