I am having problems with opt in module, it installed correctly (I think) but when I try to go to module>>settings I get blank page .
Any ideas ?

It would be helpful if you could post the error that shows up in events viewer.
I did come across something similar and the problem was that the txt/html editor had an issue with the optin module. See if you can edit the body of the email, if you can not see the editor that means you need to either change it or find an upgrade.
