Hi, I have few quite old sites and they have been working ok in most browsers, however there are strange things now happening in IE8. The layout and fonts look ok across all IE version apart from IE8. I think this could be due to CSS, do you know of any CSS hacks that I can use to target IE8 only ?

I have a dispay problem with IE8 & DNN that I can not seem to figure out. If you go to http://www.erdas.com/tabid/84/currentid/1050/default.aspx, and look at the "Buy Now!" on the right side of the page (with a dark orange background), and notice that (IF VIEWED in IE8) there is a "white line" that appears between the word "US" and the left side of the orange background. The white line is in other places on the site (in IE8) but this particular place is an example for you to see. I can not figure out why it is there, or what is causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

You could use CSS hacks that target IE 8 but there is another option, put this tag in the header of the default.aspx file (default.aspx in the root of the site), make sure it is the first meta tag ! <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" /> This will make your sites display in IE7 compatibility mode.
