if(dnn.dom.browser.isTYpe(dnn.dom.browser.Safari,dnn.dom.browser.Chrome))
dnn.setVar(this.ns+'_json','');

But it doesnt work. If i put this line inside assignCss function in dnn.controls.dnnmenu.js file, all the menus are highlighted then cant able to deselect.I dont want to select all the menus. I want home menu should be highlighted when hitting browser back button.

Hi
I can see where your problem is

did you try setting the home page under admin >> site settings >> advanced >>
(within that portal)
or if it is selected change it to not specified

other option would be to do some work on css
something along the line .Selected Tab

Hope this helps

If the  home menu is not highlighted in all the browser, then something wrong in the admin settings or in css file but my problem is only in safari and chrome browsers.

I have checked admin site settings and css file as u said but its not helping me. Is there any code to check it in dnnmenu.js which is automatically generated?

Is there any other way???
