user account administration

We are experiencing the following problem/issue with administering our DNN site. We created a user as a superuser when they should have only been an admin. We deleted their account from the list of superusers and then attempted to add them a admin user. Initially this appeared to work fine except once we added them back into the system their user account again appeared in the superuser account list. We are relatively new to DNN so any help resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Hi, which version of dnn are you using? I encountered a problem in the registration when you call the user admin or host maybe thois is connected
