Creating a microsite

I am working on a site in DNN for the first time. I am running 5.6.2 on IIS7 Windows 2008. I would like to know how to create a microsite within a site, where once you click on a navigation link to a certain page, the navigation menu changes to a new set of pages within that microsite, basically so that it has 2 independent navigation menus.

To create a new portal, go to host settings portals. You can find a lot of information on creating portals on the net and in the DNN manual.
